The 1st Intense course on «Clinical Epidemiology: from Theory to Application» has been successfully completed


The 1st Intense course on «Clinical Epidemiology: from Theory to Application» was successfully completed on October 25, 2024.
The course was conducted in the context of the MoU signed on December 2023 by Harvard University and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). The MoU formalizes the longstanding collaboration between the Departments of Epidemiology of the two Universities and the overarching aim of this collaboration is to facilitate excellence in science by promoting graduate education in epidemiology and collaborative interdisciplinary research.
The course was taught by Prof. Albert Hofman, Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H.Chan School of Public Health and Prof. Pagona Lagiou, Chair of the Department of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Medical Statistics at the School of Medicine, NKUA.
The Rector of NKUA Prof. Gerasimos Siasos honored with his presence the completion of the course and congratulated the students on their accomplishments.
