Scholarship awarded to PhD Candidate Aikaterini Niforou, MD
In a ceremony that took place at the Zappeion Lyceum in Constantinople, on Friday 16 2025, Dr. Aikaterini Niforou was awarded the “Stathis Arseniadis” Scholarship in the context of the PeopleCert’s Scholarship Program “Honouring our teachers from Constantinople” with the support of the Ecumenical Federation of Constantinopolitans. Dr. Niforou, MD, has an MSc degree in “Epidemiology – Research Mathodology” and is currently working on her dissertation at the First Department of Dermatology & Venereology,”Andreas Sygros” Hospital and the Department of Hygiene, Epidemiology & Medical Statistics, School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The award is in recognition and support of her work in the field of medical research.
