On behalf of the WHO European Office for Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases (WHO NCD Office), we would like to inform you about the online seminar on Implementation Research as part of the Early Career Researchers Net event seriesand kindly invite you to join us. Please find the scope and purpose of the event series and the provisional programme attached.
This event will be held on October 20, from 12.00 to 13.00 CEST via Zoom. The working language of the event is English.
This month we are going to delve deep into the groundbreaking domain of Implementation Research.
Implementation Research is a dynamic field of study that aims to bridge the gap between evidence-based interventions and their implementation in real-world settings. In this event, we will shed light on how implementation research can help advance health equity and discuss a well-known example of how it catalyzed meaningful change in diabetes prevention in Kerala, India.
The event will feature presentations from two world-renowned experts in Implementation Science: Prof David Peters, Dean, Faculty of Health, York University, Canada; and Prof Brian Oldenburg, Professor of Public Health & Implementation Science, La Trobe University and Baker Heart & Diabetes Institute, Australia.
We would be delighted if you could accept our invitation and share this information with your colleagues. We are kindly asking all those who would like to join the event to fill out a short registration form available via this link:
All the registered participants will receive a Zoom link before the meeting.
